Do you need special bag boxing gloves for hitting the punching bag or can you just get regular boxing gloves?
It's more expensive if you have to buy special bag gloves just for hitting the punching bag and I'm wondering if it's really necessary. By the way, I just want to get boxing gloves to punch the bag and work out.

Many fighters WILL use handed down fight gloves on the bags, BUT, they don't last long, because the foam or padding is not designed for that. Bag gloves are made with a different foam density for bag use ONLY. Either way is fine, as long as the hands are wrapped correctly and you realize that reglular boxing gloves won't last as long.
