I'm a thirteen year old girl, lately I've been having trouble with weight. I'm kinda tall, and my friends say I have an hourglass figure. I do have a large chest, but I want to lose some thigh fat and stomach fat. I'm not obese, but I'm no stick. My mom told me that I was just developing, but I still want to be fit and in shape. You see, I want to lose weight, but I don't want to lose my curves or my chest before I have the chance to fully grow them out, you know? I was thinking of wearing reebok shape ups while working out, to have a tighter core and thighs. I'm about to go to start at a gym and I'm planning on using a treadmill, but I want to keep a good figure. So how can I lose weight in a certain area? Good ideas for exercises? Other than crunches, will the treadmill work?

Try stomach crunches by sitting on a chair with a book bag (loaded with 10 pounds of books) on your lower legs, using your feet to keep the bag from sliding off. Sit upright in the chair & lift both legs at the same time. Try 20 reps once a day. If you exercise just before dinner, your metabolism with be higher & help to digest food quicker & make your body less likely to store fat.
