A truly great piece of technology and ingenuity is the F6 heart rate monitor from Polar. This Company has been at the forefront of the heart rate monitor industry for the last three decades or so. Having been in the industry for so long, they have given so many good releases. The heart rate monitors from Polar are work horses that take care of the business. For the Polar F6, there are only a handful heart monitors that come close to it. The following is a review on the F6 including its pros and cons.
Polars’ Finest
Polar heart monitors have features that no other heart rate monitors have. The Polar F6 Heart Rate Monitor is no different. These features are Polars’ ZonePointer, the Polar OwnCal, the Polar OwnZone and OwnCode.
The Polar OwnCal gives a display of the expenditure of energy in a session. It is as its name says. If all that was not enough, it also shows the accumulated kilocalories that you may have racked up in several workouts or sessions. The Polar ZonePointer on the other hand is an audio and visible feature on the F6 that displays the zone of your target heart rate. This is a pretty handy feature for fitness enthusiasts. The Polar OwnZone and OwnCode features give help and guidance on the right warm up sessions and they block out unwanted signals from other wireless devices.

It is an ideal heart monitor for when you are in a fitness group setting or around people who are using wireless technology also.
