A Review Of Seiko Velatura Chronograph SPC049P1 SPC049P SPC049 Yacht Timer Men's Watch
Seiko Velatura watches combine their innovative functionality with a refined approach to design. With water resistances varying between 100 and 200 metres, Velatura watches offer different features depending on your skills and needs. At the heart of the range are two calibres, Kinetic Direct Drive and Yachting Timer, designed expressly for Velatura and ensuring Seiko Velatura watches are at the highest standard of marine watches. Seiko Velatura is a collection of high performance marine watches for men and women, each of which combines innovation of function with refinement in design. Seiko's Velatura collection is designed to withstand the rigors of open ocean racing. The case is made from titanium, covered with a new hard coating. The chronograph mens watches has a new screw-in crown system that ensures water resistance to 200 meters. A new strap combines leather and ballistic nylon to offer a blend of good looks and strength.
Seiko Velatura watches are notable for many reasons – but the variety of hands' shapes is one of the most striking. Velatura designers obviously took an artistic approach in regard to the minutes and hours hands: each consists of two diamond-like shapes linked at the center of the watch by the axis. Velatura Men's come almost strictly with black dials, on which various sub-dials and indicators appear with the help of white, red and blue colors. There are varieties of modes inside this men's chronograph watch. Time mode is indicated by the hour, minute and small second hands. Yacht timer mode combines the functions of a countdown timer and a stop watch that starts operating automatically when the timer finishes counting down. This function is particularly useful in yacht racing. 5-, 6- & 10-minute preset timers are available. The timer mode can be set to a maximum of 15 minutes in 1-minute increments. The stopwatch mode can measure 12 hours in 1/5-second increments. When the measurement reaches 12 hours, the stopwatch automatically stops. Alarm mode has two alarm single time and regular time. In local time mode the time in another time zone area can be shown in 1-minute increments, offering a dual time display.
